Harbour Island
Harbour Island

Harbour Island is possibly the most relaxing place in the world. The three mile long beaches are often voted the best in the world, the pink beaches turn a salmon colour with the setting of the sun and have the most incredible texture.

Getting to the Island

Harbour Island is not the easiest place to get to, but it is worth it! Flights either into Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale) direct to North Eleuthera, a three minute drive to the dock and then a five minute water taxi to Harbour Island. Private charters are reasonably priced out of Nassau or there are commercial flights on a daily basis. British Airways offer a direct Heathrow/Nassau flight.

Once on the island…

Golf carts are the only way of transport on the island, with the exception of a few taxis –

Remember to drive on the left hand side! Golf carts are easy to rent – Johnsons have a fine selection!
