Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez: a private domaine on the Cap Saint-Pierre peninsula
Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez is a gated residential estate on the Cap Saint-Pierre peninsula. Laid out in the 1950s by Robert Geffroy and Léone Maria, the domaine covers around 110 hectares and comprises around 300 properties, ranging from Provençal-style villas to contemporary architecture.
Access is via a single guarded entrance off the Chemin de la Fontaine-du-Pin, leading onto the Allée des Palmiers, with security present 24 hours a day. Residents have private pedestrian access to the beaches of Les Canoubiers , Les Salins, and La Moutte, and the estate includes tennis courts reserved for owners.
At the heart of the domaine stands Château Borelli, built between 1895 and 1900 by Philippe Octave Borelli, a French civil servant who had spent much of his career in Egypt and drew on Moorish architecture for the design. The Borelli family lived there until 1928; the building was requisitioned by German forces in 1944, damaging its roof and library, then stood empty until it was restored in 1988 and divided into private apartments. It remains a landmark within the estate, overlooking the Baie des Canoubiers.
Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez is widely regarded as one of, if not the most expensive area of Saint-Tropez in which to buy or rent. Sales prices in Les Parcs generally start around 7–8 million euros and can exceed 120 million euros for the most exceptional estates.
