Nestled beneath the Garoupe lighthouse and chapel and surrounded by pine trees, this villa on Cap d'Antibes enjoys sweeping views over the old town, the sea and the snow-capped Southern Alps beyond. The house sleeps six and is air-conditioned throughout.

The large open-plan reception and dining room features two double sofas, an open fireplace for cooler evenings, a TV with Sky channels in English, French, Russian and other languages, a music system, a DVD player with a DVD library, books and board games, and fibre wifi. The dining table seats eight, laid with Royal Worcester white fine bone china.

The fully equipped kitchen diner includes an American-style fridge-freezer with icemaker, a dishwasher, double sink, ceramic hob, double oven with microwave, stainless steel saucepans, a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, liquidiser and scales, along with glassware and stainless steel cutlery. A separate utility area has a washing machine and dryer.

There are three double bedrooms. The en-suite master bedroom, with a super king-sized wrought iron bed, is on the ground floor; two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom are upstairs. All bedrooms are fitted with white Egyptian cotton bed linen, and guests can choose between feather or anti-allergen duvets and pillows. Both shower rooms, one of them en-suite, have heated towel rails for warm Ralph Lauren towels, and complimentary soaps and shower gels are provided, along with a separate guest WC and pool towels.

Outside, the 7m x 4m swimming pool is set among six terraces, two of them grassed, with two pool loungers and six sun loungers and cushions for relaxing in the sun. A sun terrace gives access to a sauna and an outdoor shower, both with views over the sea and the Southern Alps. Guests can dine al fresco at any of three outdoor dining tables seating between four and eight people, with two Weber charcoal BBQs for outdoor cooking, and unwind on two steamers with cushions. For entertainment, the property also offers outdoor table tennis and darts.
